As promised, my box was hand delivered because of my location #Detroit, on time and in perfect condition.
I had seen the pictures of what to expect, but after receiving the actual box and viewing what was inside I was even more excited.
The first thing that greets you is the aroma of the soap and the teas that blend together in perfect harmony to prepare you for the read. There were a few unexpected goodies inside as well. I love my box!

ABOUT US
Here at Fifth House Collective, we pride ourselves on being obsessed with books and reading. Unfortunately, we noticed there was a huge gap in the publishing world when it came to Black authors. It was even worse when you took a look at independent or self-published Black authors. There are many popular book subscription boxes readily available and they all have two things in common; A lack of Black authors and a lack of independent authors.
Fifth House Collective decided to step in and bridge that gap by getting self-published novels and comics/graphic novels into the hands of the public along with some nice goodies, too!
Each and every story that we offer in our box has been read and loved by us. We hope you enjoy them as well.

WHAT IS THE FIFTH HOUSE COLLECTIVE BOOK BOX?
FHC Book Box is a quarterly, non-renewing, book box service that delivers self-published comics and novels by Black authors along with other goodies to your doorstep.
WHAT AGE DO YOU RECOMMEND FHC MONTHLY BOOK BOX FOR?
18 years and up.
WHAT TYPES OF BOOKS CAN I EXPECT?
You can expect novels and comics within the speculative fiction, horror, thriller, sci-fi and fantasy genre!
HOW DO I KNOW I WON'T ALREADY OWN THE BOOK OR COMIC YOU SEND ME?

WHAT CURRENCY DO YOU USE?
USD only.
I DON'T HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT. CAN I STILL BUY A BOOK BOX?
You don't need a PayPal account to purchase our Book Box. At checkout, simply click the Check out with PayPal button. This will lead you to the PayPal login page. Instead of logging in or creating an account, click on the Pay With Debit Or Credit Card button and fill out the required information!
DO YOU SHIP TO MY COUNTRY?
Currently, we only ship within the US. Detroit residents have the option of either delivery by UPS mail or delivery by Yours Truly!
WHEN WILL MY FHC BOOK BOX BE SHIPPED TO ME?
All orders are processed in 1-3 days and then shipped out by UPS Mail.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY FHC MONTHLY BOOK BOX TO ARRIVE?
By Mail: Most customers will receive their boxes 7 - 10 business days after shipping.
Detroit Resident Drop-Off: Most customers will receive their boxes on the release day (5th of the Month)
CAN I TRACK MY FHC BOOK BOX SHIPMENT?
Yes! Once your box has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation which includes a tracking number.
MY BOX HAS BEEN RETURNED TO SENDER. HOW CAN I GET MY HANDS ON MY BOX?
If your tracking shows that your box is being returned to sender, please email us right away at info@fifthhousecollective.com. We'd be happy to look into why the box is being returned, and try re-sending your box!

SHIPPING DURING THE HOLIDAYS
Please be aware that shipping during the holidays may be delayed and it could take longer than usual for you to receive your orders.
REFUND/RETURN POLICY
We can not accept returns, regardless of whether the box has been opened or not.
Once your order has shipped, we do not offer refunds. However, if your order is misplaced in the mail, we will re-ship your order to you at no charge!
If you receive a damaged item, please send us a photo of the damage to info@fifthhousecollective.com within 48 hours of receiving your box and we will be happy to ship you a replacement!
