WHY I LIKED IT
The magic of storytelling...
I was absolutely won over from Amanda's ability to write a drama with justice issues for characters only mentioned in fantasy novels. What a great way for a reader to consume other genres they would normally skip over. Amanda Ross wrote with as much creative care as the painters who completed the Sistine Chapel.
The story itself was realistic which is in part why I found myself relating to both the heroes and the antagonists. At times I even related to the protagonists and the love interest. I would reread in anticipation of the sequel as I would review artwork from the vatican museums. Some experiences are memorable. Hope you enjoy To Astera, With Love as much as I did.
